A Note from Your Teacher
MYP Mathematics is an especially important stage because it prepares students for the significant jump in difficulty that comes with DP Mathematics. It combines straightforward mathematical foundations with interdisciplinary thinking: students learn not only how to solve problems, but also how Maths connects to the world around them.
My focus will be on making sure students have strong basics, can explain their thinking, and develop confidence before moving on to more advanced study. There is no need for students to be afraid of Maths. With clear teaching, steady practice, and curiosity, every student can improve.
Maths is full of patterns, puzzles, history, and surprising ideas. I hope this course helps students see it that way.
